Form 5472 Filing Services
Having Form 5472 filed with the pro forma 1120 for a US LLC owned from abroad costs $299 to $899 for this year's filing at the 4 services that publish a price and name the company behind them. Missing the filing carries a $25,000 penalty.

The first column is what this year's filing costs a company that traded. Read the next three before the price: who prepares it, whether the service sends it to the IRS for you, and whether an extension is included. The form has to reach the IRS by fax or post; where a service does not say it sends it, plan to send it yourself. The penalty for missing it is $25,000.

Scope
What the figures cover, and what is deliberately absent — an omission a reader cannot see looks like an oversight.
What this table covers
- Every price is read off the provider's own page and dated individually.
- The headline column prices this year's filing for a single-member LLC that had income or expenses in the year. A provider that charges less for a company with no activity says so in the price-basis column.
- Only services that publish a price and name the company behind them. Filing it means handing over passport details, the EIN and the company's dealings with its owner, so a service whose operator cannot be identified is left out however cheap it is.
- Filing-only services and a yearly package are in the same table, because a reader choosing between them wants to see the price gap. The price-basis column marks which is which, and what the package adds.
What it leaves out, and why
- Services that do not name the company behind them. In September 2026 that left out six sites charging about $50 to $300, several of them software you complete yourself.
- Estimates and conditional prices: a 'starting price' a firm will change after a review, and a flat price that applies only to cases the page does not define.
- Formation plans that include federal filing without naming Form 5472 on their pricing page. Those are in the formation table, which records each one's position on Form 5472.
- Late filings for earlier years and penalty relief. Where a provider publishes a price for them, its summary gives it; they are too irregular to rank.
- Quality of the work. It is not published, so it is not scored; the score is the price alone.
Every figure above is dated to the last time it was checked against the provider’s own pricing page, not to when this page was published. See methodology for how scores are calculated from those figures.
